After many, many years under the tutelage of some of best hair artist in the world I wanted to practice all the diverse techniques and methods I'd learned; I just couldn't do it under the umbrella of a conventional 'super salon'.  I was always told what I CAN'T do.  I've always pushed against boundaries, stereotypes and labels. I had to break out or watch my creative spirit wither away.  With the clientele I've attracted over 17+ years, we co-create, we learn and build together. 
My clients are not 'sales tickets', they are individual visionaries and my job is to help their 'outside' to match.

Got a curly cut from Rayna this weekend that brightened my day. She was kind and walked me through a hair care and styling routine that fit with my lifestyle. The studio is also very cute. Rayna is absolutely the best. She has been doing my highlights for the last 6 years or so and I ask her all the time “where have you been my whole life?!!” I get so many compliments at how well my highlights blend in, how long the color lasts; she gets the exact shine that I’m looking for. She has a precise eye - meticulous about the details, works with a vision and internal inspiration, and she makes you want to  love your look. Rayna is a legend and has been taking care of my extra long thick layers for about 3 years now. She recently color corrected all of the box dye I used over the pandemic out of my 20lbs of hair and let me tell you... AMAZING. I did not think it was possible to get all of the oxidized red tones out of my dark brown hair in one day.  It is now a much more natural dirty blonde that feels grown up, softer, goes better with my skin tone, and the application is beautiful. My cuts are always fire and she is so pleasant to be around (patience of a saint). Doing yourself a disservice if you don’t see her.

Rayna is so professional and great at what she does. She took time with me to help me figure out what cut I wanted even though I was kind of all over the place! The space is great and clean. Rayna is the best! I have really thick, dull-colored hair and every time I've seen her I have felt so awesome about the way she tames it by cutting it and also the long-lasting highlights that brighten up my entire look. I've tried going to others but I always come back and feel she is well worth every penny.

Rayna gives great cuts and has great tips for those with dry wavy/curly hair!  I've had a lot of trouble finding a stylist who would give me cuts that would work with my hair texture and that grew out well and I've been really happy with Rayna.  I've been going to Rayna for the past few years and don't plan on finding someone else!

I used to only color my hair with my hometown stylist because I've had so many disaster stories at Beverly Hills salons in LA. My stylist at home didn't do a great job last time (somehow honey blonde ended up being more orange) so I figured I'd gamble with an LA stylist again.

I was terrified honestly. It would be a color correction/ balayage on my very curly crown (I'm African American with natural, unstraightened hair). I mean, most stylist can't handle one of those things at a time on my texture.

I saw Rayna first for baby lights, and she did such a great job that I had to come back. The next time around I did a cut and went a bit bolder with the baby lights, and I am super happy with the results! The colour looks very natural, not at all a manufactured blonde. My hair texture is curly, and she knew exactly the techniques for thinning so my hair wouldn’t get fluffy and doing subtle layers to give it a good overall shape. I used to try and wand curl my hair and have now been going natural, and the cut Rayna gave me helps the curls to behave so the natural curl looks great.

I stumbled across Rayna’s salon online as I was searching for a hairdresser that was experienced. My hair was damaged from being bleached a few months prior to my visit, it had turned an awful brassy colour and was breaking out.
Rayna did an amazing job and gave me the exact colour I was hoping for, not only that but I feel as though I have a completely different head of hair, it feels and looks so healthy. She was very knowledgable on the products and made sure she gave me instructions on the best way to care for my hair.

Before meeting Rayna, I had never found someone who could cut my fine hair into bangs that don’t stick to my obnoxiously high forehead. She makes them perfect every time, and does complimentary bang trims for regulars! Everything from her cutting to her color to her styling is on point and I couldn’t be happier with what she does to my hair. She is very meticulous and takes her time in making sure your hair is just so. Plus, she has great taste in music. Afterwards you can also get some tasty Thai food at Otus right next door, or check out the gorgeous Japanese cookware spot Toiro.

Rayna is the absolute best. I have been going to her for balayage / highlights / haircuts for about 3 years, and I've never been happier with a hairdresser. Not only is Rayna an absolute joy to be around, but her work is unparalleled. She was honest with me about the time and upkeep needed for my complete transition from dark blonde to platinum, and true to her word, my hair is healthy and beautiful after following her instructions. I've been a client of Rayna for several years and I have naturally curly hair, she is the only stylist I've found who can cut my hair perfectly. I don't even need to blow dry!! The womans a genius and passionate about what she does.

What can I Say? As a frugal woman that rarely gets her hair done due to my own particularity, I can honestly say I only go to Rayna. Rayna is amazing!!! I have dark hair. It is hard to get highlights that are not brassy or yellow. Rayna did this beautiful neutral blond highlights on me.
